Box is missing the lid but the original receipt for $10.98 dated July 1, 1974 is inside.
Shoes and box have been moved around a few times but never worn. Inside is marked 'special footbed'.

Condition is very good: light soiling from being tossed around for over 30 years but should clean up well. There is a dime size area on one of the blue stripes that looks like glue was stuck on it - that area has had the 'suede' removed as a result.
Box condition is fair: bent up but still can hold the shoes, no lid.
Both shoes and box are marked in English and German.
