Endearing constructive shape recognition activity kit handmade / handcrafted locally in East Aurora, NY, home of Fisher-Price Toys.
Most likely produced as a limited edition by Nelson J. Tremor (1904-1990), kit is comprised of different sizes of straight sticks of 1/4" pine and circular sticks of 1/4" plywood.
I found several references to Mr. Tremor - listed on 1905 NYS Census and in the 1924 Erie County Directory while he lived at his family home at 111 Girard St. (just down the street from Fisher Price Toys.) The 1905 NYS Census lists his father's occupation as carpenter.
Information on instruction sheet in box notes Mr. Tremor's address on North Willow St., East Aurora and patent pending.
The label on box has appearance of being hand produced in the manner of the Roycrofters letterpress print shop, also a concurrent neighbor of Mr. Tremor.
