Set of 4 Little Black Sambo puzzles illustrated by FERN BISEL PEAT and produced by the Harter Publishing Company in Cleveland, Ohio in 1932.
The 4 scenes are: The tiger is crouched holding the green umbrella in his tail and Sambo is trying to get it back; Sambo is behind the tiger which is wearing Sambo's shoes on his ears; Jumbo is mixing the pancake batter; Sambo is starting his walk into the forest with his new clothing.
Each measures 7 1/2" x 9 3/4"
Good vintage condition: all are age faded / soiled; tiger puzzle is missing one piece and there are some pieces with small extensions missing, no box, see photos.
